In April of 2020 the historic Log Cabin was saved from demolition when the City of West Hollywood bought it and the West Hollywood Recovery Center took over management of it to ensure all 90+ weekly 12 step group meetings on N Robertson Blvd continue. A virtual celebration took place May 16 & 17, 2020, which inspired ongoing monthly recovery weekends for more than a year while we remained closed. While these concluded in May 2020, you can still listen to all of the AA and Al-Anon event speakers for free on our page at AMOT Audio.
The West Hollywood Recovery Center officially reopened in November 2017 so even more experience, strength, and hope can be shared in West Hollywood. Our mission is to provide a meeting place for 12-step groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, and to provide assistance with addiction recovery, prevention and education to those in need.
