The Log Cabin

Overview

West Hollywood has long been a vital hub for the recovery community. In a key partnership, the City of West Hollywood and the non-profit West Hollywood Recovery Center are working together to raise funds and advocate for the renovation of the historic Log Cabin into the “Log Cabin Recovery Campus.” This project aligns with the City’s broader efforts to combat addiction and homelessness, complementing initiatives like rent stabilization, affordable housing, mental health programs, and crisis response services

To ensure the long-term sustainability of the new Log Cabin Recovery Campus, WHRC and the Log Cabin must secure the necessary funding. This $18M project has already garnered unprecedented support, with over $13M committed from the City of West Hollywood, Los Angeles County, the State of California, and the Federal Government. We now seek contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations to raise the remaining $5M needed to reach our goal. The West Hollywood Recovery Center (WHRC) Board has partnered with A&CO as our fundraising agency of record to drive these efforts forward.
  • Upgrade the facility to meet health, safety, and ADA standards while preserving its historic character.

  • Establish a long-term recovery center that serves the needs of the West Hollywood community.

  • Integrate a city-owned public parking lot into a net-zero, sustainable campus that enhances the Robertson Boulevard streetscape.

  • Include three acoustically separated meeting rooms with dedicated support spaces.

  • Collaborate with the City of West Hollywood on architectural plans to restore the historic Log Cabin and add two additional rooms for 12-step meetings, enabling the WHRC to consolidate operations in one facility.
