WEST HOLLYWOOD RECOVERY CENTER
The Log Cabin
Overview
West Hollywood has long been a vital hub for the recovery community. In a key partnership, the City of West Hollywood and the non-profit West Hollywood Recovery Center are working together to raise funds and advocate for the renovation of the historic Log Cabin into the “Log Cabin Recovery Campus.” This project aligns with the City’s broader efforts to combat addiction and homelessness, complementing initiatives like rent stabilization, affordable housing, mental health programs, and crisis response services
Objective
Mission
- Upgrade the facility to meet health, safety, and ADA standards while preserving its historic character.
- Establish a long-term recovery center that serves the needs of the West Hollywood community.
- Integrate a city-owned public parking lot into a net-zero, sustainable campus that enhances the Robertson Boulevard streetscape.
- Include three acoustically separated meeting rooms with dedicated support spaces.
- Collaborate with the City of West Hollywood on architectural plans to restore the historic Log Cabin and add two additional rooms for 12-step meetings, enabling the WHRC to consolidate operations in one facility.
