Recovery Month may end today, but recovery continues every day.
Keep choosing hope, keep showing up & keep carrying it forward.
Recovery month 2026
“Upon hitting my rock bottom, I entered the Cedars Thalians outpatient program. They gave me a clear directive: I needed to go to AA meetings.
I recall so clearly the day I walked into my very first meeting at the West Hollywood Recovery Center back in April 2004. I sat down, raised my hand, and said: “I’m Ken, and I’m an alcoholic and drug addict, and I need help.”
I was entirely willing to follow direction. I kept coming back, and these rooms became my home away from home.
Over the years, I have continued to grow and build upon my sobriety, forging a solid foundation alongside an incredible community of recovering friends. I thank God every day for my continued sobriety, and for giving me the ability to pass it on and help others find the same path.
If you are struggling today, please know that help is out there, and you don’t have to do it alone. The WeHo Recovery Center & Log Cabin are free and you’ll be welcomed with open arms.”
