“The West Hollywood Recovery Center was my first meeting location when it was on Santa Monica Boulevard upstairs above Buzz Coffee. I just remembered how sweet and nice everyone was. That always stayed with me. I love the newest iteration. It’s always changing and evolving, and I believe this recovery center has been the foundation for a lot of people’s recovery. Also, I believe that the City of West Hollywood makes a lot of money off of taxes and taxing hotels and bars and clubs, and I think that they can always put more funding into this project because it really is where a lot of people will end up. I love the space. I love that it’s linked to a log cabin, which is sacred ground.
