Recovery month 2026 Boots

This chapter of gratitude may close, but the hope, love & community that make recovery possible live on every day.

Recovery month 2026

“The WHRC is a special place to me, it happens to be where I went to my first AA meeting on the first day of my sobriety, Nov. 3 2024. It was my first time I put a label on my chaos, I’m an alcoholic. What i didn’t know is that I wouldn’t convince myself not to stay. I not only stayed but I surrendered, for the first time, I didn’t have all the answers and I was no longer in charge. I trusted that I was ready to meet a new version of myself and the unknown could have the solutions i was ready to receive. What I found is that the spiritual connection that I’ve always had with God had now been presented to me in a way that felt personal, mine. I was ready to walk the path of sobriety and with that I was ready to live, so I’m living SOBER, SOBER & FREE.”
