“The WHRC will always hold a special place in my heart as being where I went to my very first meaning. My uncle (my eskimo) took me, and despite being pretty high and needing 3 double tequila shots at the Abbey up the road to steady my nerves enough to get me through the door, I remember the meeting being full of laughter, joy and warmth. Over the years many of my regular meetings have been at both the WHRC and the Log Cabin, recently my home group recently outgrew its original space and moved to the Log Cabin. Having a resource like this in the heart of West Hollywood, is something we should never take for granted, having lived in other cities that do not have a permanent recovery meeting space.”
